Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Athirapilly

  • Morning: Arrive at Cochin International Airport and meet your private chauffeur for the drive to Athirapilly (approximately 2 hours).
  • Afternoon: Check into a luxury resort with views of the lush rainforest. Enjoy a welcome drink and lunch overlooking the Athirapilly Falls, Kerala’s own “Niagara”.
  • Evening: Visit the Athirapilly Waterfalls and explore the surrounding trails at your leisure. Return to your resort for a relaxing spa session followed by a gourmet dinner that features local delicacies.
  • Overnight: Stay in a luxury resort in Athirapilly.

Day 2Athirapilly to Kumarakom

  • Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a refreshing morning walk near the falls or visit the nearby Vazhachal Waterfalls.
  • Afternoon: Check out and leisurely drive to Kumarakom (approximately 4.5 hours). Check into a luxurious lakefront resort on the serene Vembanad Lake. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch with stunning water views.
  • Evening: Explore the beauty of the backwaters with a private sunset houseboat cruise or canoe ride through the tranquil canals. Return to the resort for a fine dining experience.
  • Overnight: Stay in a luxury resort in Kumarakom.

Day 3Departure from Kumarakom

  • Morning: Following breakfast, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary for a guided tour to spot native and migratory birds amidst the lush greenery.
  • Afternoon: Return to the resort to relax by the pool or enjoy a yoga session. Check out and drive back to Cochin International Airport for your departure, enriched by luxury and nature’s serenity.
