Itinerary

Day 1Paro Airport - Thimphu (Distance: 55 Kms. / Driving Time: 1½ Hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2,350 Mts.)

Arrival at Paro Airport. transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. Check in to the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 2Thimphu Sightseeing – Paro (Distance: 55 Kms. / Driving Time: 1½ Hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2,280 Mts.)

Visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. Vvisit the National Memorial Chorten , Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon transfer to Paro (7,480 ft.). Enroute visit Tamchog Lhakhang. Arrive at Paro and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 3Paro Sightseeing (Altitude of Paro – 2280 Mts.)

Full day sightseeing of Paro. Ta Dzong – the National Museum of Bhutan with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities, then visit Rinpung Dzong – the administrative seat of Paro district. Afternoon, visit the Drukgyel Dzong On a clear day experience a beautiful view of Mt. Jhomolhari (24035 ft.); from here. Then visit the Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan. In the evening, explore the Paro Town. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 4Paro Hotel - Paro Airport

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Paro Airport for your onward journey.
